Saxon father of the country at the helm of Tutima Rennyacht in front of the Dresden Frauenkirche

At the Unity celebration from 1 to 3 October, Tutima showed in Dresden flag - and the Saxon Prime Minister was on board: the Glashütter watchmaker anchored directly beside the Frauenkirche his sailing yacht dedicated to the sailing sport, on Tutima's managing director Jörg Delecate and the Tutima-Frauensegelcrew Stanislaw Tillich as a prominent Steuermann.

The titangraue 14-meter-racer - an unmistakable symbol of boundless freedom and worldliness - was presented to the guests from all over the world in the Elbmetropole. A 15-man, multi-award winning Tutima sailing team controls the high seasights of international regattas by wind and waves, and has been available for questions and experiences at the Unity celebration.

In the course of the company's history, Tutima also navigates through turbulent times: founded in Glashütte in 1927, it marks the mark in the postwar war from Saxony to Lower Saxony. In 2008, the traditions manufacturing company made its comeback at its founding place. Here a new collection of high quality timepieces "made in Glashütte" is being developed. Current new entry: The M2 Seven Seas with a compressive strength of up to 50 bar.

Created out of love for the sea - and its own roots: In every Tutima, the ideals of the Glashütter manifest watchmaking art and a piece of German history.
